As some of you might recall, my family used to have a 2010 HS250h for 3 years. It was replaced by a Ford Fusion Energi.

Here's the review: If you ever find yourself driving one of these, just kill yourself. That's the best way to describe what it's like driving this thing. The only pluses I can give it is that the rear seat is roomy and the seats are very comfy (but are not great for longer trips). It rides nicely in a straight line. The rest is just garbage. Not even worth talking about.

My sister has a 2010 Prius. That's a better, more practical car for $10-15k less.

How many of these things were sold? I did not even know of this car's existence before today.

I had a 2010 Lexus HS250 that got taken out by a hit and run motorist and I would beg to differ it was an awesome car. I got 31.9 MPG and was able to hit toss that car into corners at some very brisk speeds. Was the acceleration anything to write home about, not really but it did the job. I always got a laugh driving that thing into high speed corners and passing faster cars from BMW or Mercedes. In fact passengers even told me how sporty my car was on a few occasions. The car's interior space was absolutely outstanding. Sure you could get a Prius but the HS250 had far more room in the back for passengers and other items. The car was small yet somehow Toyota designed it with ample room for passengers. Did you have to gun the engine to get acceleration absolutely: but it always complied and gave me enough power to hit corners at some brisk speeds. The balance between power and handling was phenomenal in that car. You always had power to get do something quickly and the suspension never let me down. The HS 250 was practical and in the right hands quick. It was a phenomenal car.
